References reviewed to develop research priorities

Priorities from the following documents were considered in development of this list. Current reports, including the 2008 Ballast Water Management Report, the 2008 NAS Report, the results of the ballast water and hull fouling studies, as well as the host of activities noted in the 2009 ICAIS conference abstracts have influenced some additions, clarifications and changes in emphasis in the 2009 research priorities.
